While the idea of linking these stories is intriguing, the execution often falters, making it hard to stay fully engaged across all timelines. The ambitious scope is commendable, yet it can also feel disjointed and confusing.

An Ensemble with Mixed Results

The ensemble cast, led by Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, brings a range of performances that vary in effectiveness. While Hanks excels in his multiple roles, some characters feel underdeveloped, making it hard to connect with their arcs. Jim Broadbent gives a memorable performance as Timothy Cavendish, but others like Bae Doona's characters lack significant depth.
