The film follows college student Stefanie Reyes, who is haunted by a violent recurring nightmare that hints at the gruesome fate awaiting her family. Determined to break the cycle of death that plagues her dreams, she returns home to confront long-buried family secrets and find the one person who might help her stave off the impending doom. As she races against time, the film weaves through supernatural elements and nail-biting scenarios, all while trying to keep the audience guessing about the true nature of fate and premonition. However, despite an engaging premise, the execution doesn't quite live up to the tension it aims to create.

Performances Lacking Depth

Kaitlyn Santa Juana delivers a competent performance as Stefanie, but her character often feels underwritten, lacking the depth needed to make her struggles truly resonate. Teo Briones as Charlie is a supportive presence, yet his character could have benefited from more substantial development. Rya Kihlstedt and Richard Harmon add some flavor to the mix, but the cast occasionally falls into cliché horror tropes, which diminishes the potential impact of their performances.
